The first annual Love, Chloe Kickball Jam was held on Saturday, September 20. Games began at 10am and continued on throughout the day. There were 7 teams that competed in the tournament. The third place game was played between the UMB Banking Bankers and Old School. It was a close game with Old School coming out on top. The championship game was a match up between the Paramount Panhandlers and the Hogcallers. These two teams who also compete in the city's kickball league battled it out into the seventh inning with the Panhandlers taking the title. The first, second and third place teams all received trophies. A fourth trophy, the team spirit awared, was given to the Robot Monkeys.
All in all the tournament was a good time and a great fundraising event for the foundation. We were able to raise nearly $2000.
